Installation of cylindrical hollow bearings

When installing non-separable bearings with a tight fit between the inner ring of the bearing and the shaft, and a looser fit in the housing hole of the outer ring, the bearing can be installed on the shaft first with a press, and then the shaft and the bearing are installed into the housing hole If the bearing is small, the sleeve can also be lightly tapped with a soft metal hammer

The end face of the ring forces the bearing to move, but the knocking force must be evenly distributed on the bearing ring.

When the outer ring of the bearing is tightly fitted to the housing hole and the inner ring is loosely fitted to the shaft, the bearing can be installed on the shaft first.

the

When the bearing ring is tight fit with the shaft or the housing hole, a special mounting sleeve is used to press the bearing onto the shaft or bearing housing at the same time.

The installation of separable bearings can be conveniently installed on the shaft or bearing seat respectively because the inner ring and the outer ring. At this time, it should be noted that when the shaft with the inner ring installed is inserted into the bearing box with the outer ring installed , Try to keep it concentric to prevent scratching the rolling elements and raceways.

When the size of the bearing is large, it is difficult to install it in a cold state due to the large installation force required, or the large interference fit of the bearing under heavy load, it is necessary to heat the inner ring of the bearing or the bearing seat beforehand. to install. When installing in a hot state, the heating temperature should be strictly controlled. When heating the bearing, the maximum heating temperature should not exceed 1200C, generally 80~1000C. Bearings with shields or seals cannot be heated, as this will cause lubricant loss. Heating methods can be electric induction heating, oil bath heating and other methods.
