Needle bearing

Needle roller bearings are cylindrical roller bearings. Relative to their diameter, the rollers are thin and long. This roller is called a needle roller. Although it has a small cross section, the bearing still has a high load bearing capacity, so it is especially suitable for occasions with limited radial space.

The contour surface of the needle roller is slightly contracted at the proximal end surface. Needle and track line contact correction results can avoid damaging edge stress. In addition to the catalog, bearings that can be used for general engineering, such as: open drawn needle roller bearings (1), closed drawn needle roller bearings (2), needle roller bearings with inner ring (3) and without In addition to the inner ring needle roller bearings (4), SKF can also supply various types of needle roller bearings, including: 1, needle roller cage assemblies 2, needle roller bearings without ribs 3, self-aligning needle roller bearings 4, combinations Needle / ball bearings 5, combined needle / thrust ball bearings 6, combined needle / cylindrical roller thrust bearings.

Drawn cup needle roller bearings

Drawn cup needle roller bearings are needle bearings with a thin stamped outer ring. Its main feature is its low section height and high load capacity. It is mainly used for bearing configuration with compact structure, cheap price, and the inner hole of the bearing box cannot be used as the raceway of the needle cage assembly. The bearings and bearing housings must be installed in an interference fit. If axial positioning functions such as box shoulders and retaining rings can be omitted, then the bore in the bearing box can be made extremely simple and economical.

Drawn cup needle roller bearings mounted on the shaft end are open on both sides (1) and closed on one side (2). The base end face of the closed drawn outer ring can withstand small axial guiding forces.

Drawn cup needle roller bearings generally do not have an inner ring. Where the journal cannot be hardened and ground, the inner ring listed in the table can be used. The hardened steel outer ring of the drawn cup needle roller bearing is inseparable from the needle roller cage assembly. Free space for lubricant storage can extend the relubrication interval. The bearings are generally designed in a single row. Except for the wider series of bearings 1522, 1622, 2030, 2538 and 3038, they are equipped with two needle roller cage assemblies. The bearing outer ring has a lubricant hole. According to user needs, all single-row drawn needle roller bearings with a shaft diameter greater than or equal to 7mm can be equipped with outer rings (code suffix AS1) with lubrication holes.

Drawn cup needle roller bearings with oil seal

Where oil seals cannot be installed due to space constraints, needle roller bearings (3 to 5) with oil seal stamped outer ring can be provided with open or closed ends. This type of bearing is equipped with a friction oil seal of polyurethane or synthetic rubber, which is filled with lithium-based grease with good anti-rust performance, suitable for operating temperature -20 to + 100 ° C.

The inner ring of the oil-sealed bearing is 1mm wider than the outer ring. This allows the bearing to ensure that the oil seal works well when the shaft has a small displacement relative to the bearing box, so that the bearing is not polluted. The bearing inner ring also has lubrication holes, which can be relubricated by the outer ring or the inner ring according to the needs of the bearing configuration.
