Two types of outer spherical bearing lubrication

Bearings are the main components of mechanical equipment, and there are many types and types of lubrication. The bearings mainly introduce the relevant lubrication types for spherical bearings with seats.

There are two main types of spherical bearing lubrication. One lubrication method is called oil mist lubrication, and the other is micro lubrication. In short, it means that a small amount of lubricating oil is used to meet the lubrication requirements of the spherical bearing with seat. . Oil mist lubrication is to turn the lubricating oil into an oil mist in the oil mist generator, and lubricate the bearing through the oil mist. Because the oil mist condenses oil droplets on the outer surface of the spherical bearing operation, the outer spherical bearing still maintains the lubrication condition of the thin oil, which can prolong the life of the spherical bearing with the seat.

Warm Tips To use this lubrication method, you should pay attention to the following two points:

1. The viscosity of the oil should generally not be higher than 340mm / s (40 degrees) because too high viscosity will not reach the atomization effect.

2. Lubricated oil mist may partially dissipate with the air and pollute the environment. If necessary, an oil and gas separator can be used to collect the oil mist, and ventilation equipment may be used to remove the exhaust gas.

When the rolling speed of the bearing tumbler is very high, oil mist lubrication is often used to avoid other lubrication methods because the oil supply is too much, and the internal friction of the oil increases to increase the operating temperature of the spherical bearing with the seat. Typical oil mist pressures are about 0.05-0.1 mbar.
